George Roszel was born in Ballinafad, Ontario on February 25, 1832, he was the son of Nathaniel Roszel and Hannah Fowler.
George married Alice Vannatter on May 04, 1853 and George and Alice had seven children.
George farmed the family homestead, as did his father Nathaniel before him and his son Ira after him.
George Roszel died on November 19, 1908 in Erin Township at age 76 on the family homestead where he was born.
