Ira Roszel was born March 12th 1868 in Ballinafad, Ontario. Ira was the son of George Roszel and Alice Vannatter.
Ira was born on the Roszel family homestead and Ira's grandfather Nathanial lived with the family when Ira was a boy. Ira farmed the home farm untill around 1919. Ira was around the age of 51 when he left the farm.
On January 15th 1890 Ira married Margaret Jane Walker, Ira and Maggie had six children.
Ira died August 15th 1947.
