Lest We Forget
George Wesley Roszel served in both World War One in the 5th (Western Cavalry) Battalion and in World War Two in the Veterian's Guard and was a card carrying lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Erin Branch #442.
George died November 08, 1968 and his funeral service was held on November 11th 1968, Rememberance Day.
The funeral service was conducted by the Legion. As a part of the service, Sergeant at Arms Norm McMann lead the parade of veterans and as each man walked past the coffin they paused, removed their poppy and placed it inside with George.
